Galvanyzer has created a real-life model of the cathedral of Tristram from the original Diablo. Marvel at the creation of this model in these two forum threads: [Part I][ Part 2]. The threads are in French, but the pictures that go along with the text do an excellent job of detailing the methods and materials used to create this impressive piece of work.

One of the highly-anticipated parts of the StarCraft Sandlot tournament is the player draft, and we’ve decided to hold a logo design contest to determine which team picks first. The order of the draft will be decided by what teams have the best logos. We’ll post the submissions in order before the draft begins, so keep checking back for team logos and the draft date and time.

We would also like to note some tournament structure changes. Please see the new FAQ here for updates. Some of the changes are:

  • Total players has been reduced to 64 from 80
  • The lineups will be seeded, not Closed, Open, and Reaction
  • Map pool is:
    • Rush Hour III (3.03)
    • Ride of the Valkyries
    • Gaia 1.0
    • Neo Forte (2.1)
    • Arcadia II
  • Prize distribution information

The second volume of the Sunwell Trilogy follows the adventures of Kalec, a blue dragon trapped in human form and fleeing from forces that seek to destroy his race, and Anveena, a maiden with a mysterious power. What starts as a flight for survival turns into a quest to save these two courageous souls, and perhaps all of Azeroth, from the onslaught of the undead Scourge. Written by New York Times bestselling novelist and author of numerous Blizzard novels Richard A. Knaak and illustrated by Korean manga superstar Kim Jae-Hwan, Shadows of Ice is now available in the Blizzard Online Store.

In Bow TD, you need to build towers that resemble tiny archers, each associated with an element - Fire, Ice, Earth, Lightning, and Guns (everyone's favorite element). You can play solo or with a team with a shared amount of lives. Build your towers along the sides of the dirt path where 50 waves of creatures will run through in an attempt to attack the center area. Good luck... you'll need it! Check it out here.
